Tie-in publication of 'Cromwell', 1970 British movie

A very comprehensive souvenir of the 1970 British film 'Cromwell' starring Richard Harris and Alec Guinness and directed by Ken Hughes. There is a full history of Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England, nicely illustrated by colour photos from the film. There is also an insight into the making of the film and biographies of the chief actors.

40 pages of text, photographs, and full colour map of the Battle of Naseby, June 14th 1645. In very good condition.

The publisher information is that it was published by the Juveniles Group of IPC Magazines so I guess it was targeted at school children, but it's a great read for everyone!
