Vintage New Zealand NOC Pin Badge 1928 Summer Olympics Amsterdam

A lovely pin badge for participants of the 1928 Summer Olympic Games from New Zealand. NOC is National Olympic Committee. These Games were held in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Listed in the "rare" badge collecting category on the Olympic NOC pins website.

The pin and c-hook are all good. The blue enamel on the shield is all intact, no damage. Approximately 70-80% of the original gilt finish remains on the front and reverse. The gilt is worn away on the top of the letter 'Z'. The Kiwi bird is holding its egg. Measures 24 x 21 mm.

Overall very nice condition and of the highest rarity.
