WW2 Ministry of Information censorship badge with Greek motto

Nice scarce original wartime oxidised silver plated badge.  The rose within a laurel wreath has the King's Crown above and a Greek motto scroll below which translates as "We Work in Silence".  We think this badge would have been worn by port officers who looked out for sensitive material which would be of use to our enemies. 

Very good condition front and back, with original pin fittings.  The reverse is stamped "J.R. Gaunt, London", a major manufacturer. Height 29 mm.
