WW2 Nazi Staff Car Pennant

This Nazi Third Reich pennant was taken from an abandoned German Staff car by a Canadian soldier as they entered Calais on the 3rd of October 1944, and was given to a local lady on his return to England. This explanation of provenance was given to us from the previous owner. 

The pennant is complete with both strings and is double sided. Good overall condition, some light staining and dirty due to age and use etc. The stitching is all good. The length is 21 cm approx,  width 14.5 cm approx.
